Private Project 

Studio 4 was selected to convert an existing set of design documents into an interactive Building Information Model (BIM), revise construction documents and provide marketing images for a mixed-use building.  Tall and narrow, this building abuts a proposed parking garage and a plaza designed to enhance the northeast end of the downtown’s main thoroughfare, Broadway.  

Architectural coordination between all parties, especially the civil and structural engineers is key to the design of this building.  Utilizing common cores of vertical circulation for both the garage and the building - which will house luxury condominium units and office/retail space - saves the developers valuable real estate and avoids unnecessary costs.  The use of BIM across all disciplines helps the owners to navigate potential conflicts prior to construction.
